Maybe it's because Adele's new album just dropped or the arrival of Thanksgiving, but I've been thinking a lot about love lately. This month's Spotify playlist has songs that capture the range of emotions I've had due to meeting someone special over Halloweekend. Here is Volume Three of Musique Du Mois for November 2015.
There's nothing more heartbreaking and romantic than an Adele album. I love so many songs on 25, including "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)", "Water Under The Bridge" and "I Miss You". While you can't listen to her full album on Spotify, I added "Hello" to this playlist.
My favorite new tracks I've discovered in recent weeks are "Magnets" by Disclosure featuring Lorde, "Something In The Way You Move" by Ellie Goulding and "Rock Bottom" by Hailee Steinfeld. Every song on Hailee's debut EP HAIZ is infectious pop gold.
Songs like "Touch" by Pia Mia, "Company" by Justin Bieber and "Crave" by Tove Lo are sexy songs that remind me of the physical chemistry I had with that handsome beau. Just thinking of a kiss from him makes me blush.
Most of this playlist is pop-tastic flirty fun, but I also included serious songs that bring me back to my harsh reality. I haven't encountered much when it comes to relationships, but whenever I do fall fleetingly in love, it's intense and dramatic. Even though I found something amazing and real in the course of one weekend, the universe seems to have other plans for me. I'm thankful though to have those beautiful memories and the chance to create even more of them.
