With color and culture bursting at its seams, Miami is a city that begs to be enjoyed as luxuriously as possible. I was happy to indulge in all Miami has to offer: extravagant dining experiences, flamboyant interior design, bold art and an exhilarating nightlife.
One of my favorite activities to do when I visit a new city is check out that city’s coffee scene. A pit stop at Suite Habana Café seemed like the perfect first step on our Miami expedition. I loved the shop’s bright interior and authentic Cuban coffee.
Miami Beach is a spot where art deco architecture, a vivid palette and feel-good energy collide. While I was getting a SoCal vibe from the beach, there was something so unique about this Florida coastline that can’t be described. In the nearby Wynwood neighborhood sits an airy brunch spot called Morgans, which was ideal for a glass of rosé on the patio.
When it came to building a wardrobe for this locale, I opted for bright and beautiful patterns paired with gray neutrals. My favorite outfit—plaid trousers with a mesh black top—was one I wore to dinner at the Matador Room in the Miami Beach Edition Hotel. Another day on the trip I wore a peachy tiger-print button down tucked into Adidas cropped chinos with a white tank exposed underneath.
The highlight of our trip was spending the day relaxing, drinking and splashing at the pool of The Confidante hotel. You might recognize the hotel’s interior and pool from Dua Lipa’s “New Rules” music video.
Miami is a must-see for anyone with a proclivity for glamour and excitement. I’ll be back for more moments in Miami for sure.
