Something about the city makes me want to fall madly in love. The hustle and bustle of the metropolis is a stunning setting for a whirlwind romance that gives you the chance to explore someone else's heart while exploring the city as well. There are so many amazing restaurants and attractions in Seattle that I haven't seen yet, but trying them out on my own doesn't seem as fun as having a partner in crime with me.
I'll admit that I send coy glances when passing by someone attractive. Almost instantly I imagine what life would be like with that beautiful stranger, imagining what their personality is and what their favorite things are. Someday I'll have to stop being such a loser and make a move.
Nestled in the towering skyscrapers is my first fashion love: Nordstrom. The multi-leveled headquarters is located in downtown Seattle and it's always tempting to buy something on my way home from work. Luckily an intern budget kind of prohibits that.
I was able to score some sweet pieces from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (which is still going on for just a bit longer!). My burgundy joggers from Zanerobe are priced at $64 and they were originally $99. I love the look and feel of these pants with their drawstring waist. This Ezekiel shirt was also on sale. I paired the two pieces with my white Nike SBs that I got from Nordstrom prior to the sale.
My search for love in the city lingers on. But in a way, I've already found it. I love Seattle. I love what I'm doing with my life. Having someone to share it all with is just the last piece of the puzzle.
