There's only a handful of weeks in the year that really excite me: the week of Christmas, the week of my birthday, New York Fashion Week(s) and, of course, Milan Fashion Week(s). Milan is often forgotten about by most top tier fashion bloggers (which are primarily women) because the collections shown that week are exclusively menswear. For me, it's a thrilling time to be fascinated by fashion of the summer season ahead (it's never too early to start planning your next warm-weather wardrobe). Here are some of my favorite looks from the Spring/Summer 2015 lineup.
Black and white proves to be an everlasting trend in fashion. I'm in love with the seal on the satin blazer paired with the preppy loafers. Layering the two blazers with fitted trousers is genius.
Pure luxury is what this suit says. The damask/floral print takes on a life of its own in that passionate red shade and bold shimmering fabric. Only the brave can bear this masterpiece.
A little skin goes a long way. I'm obsessed with see-through knits for summer because they're youthful and sexy. I love the jet black gladiator sandals and nautical-inspired bracelet accessorized with this getup.
It wouldn't be a fashion week in Italy without a little Ferragamo in the mix. The complimenting textures and sophisticated sheen really make these pieces stand out. The touch of faded blue is cool.
Monochromatic ensembles are quickly becoming a favorite trend of mine. This sea green colored set with taupe shined shoes looks amazing yet attainable for metropolitan men.
This is my favorite look of them all for its simplicity. I love the idea of wearing one color and having a surprise layer peek through the shorts. The chunky sneakers are summer statements as well.
