Money has never made man happy, nor will it, there is nothing in its nature to produce happiness. The more of it one has the more one wants.
I found this statement sweatshirt at H&M and could not peel my eyes away from it. The graphic grabs your mind and doesn't let it go. I look at the sweatshirt with the artistic understanding that USA is a money-obsessed, consumer culture. There's something ordinarily beautiful in the dollar bill that makes it an unexpected print in fashion. What's even more interesting is that a symbol so culturally evocative is emblazoned on a material good for sale by a major corporation. I won't go all metaphysical on you because I really just like how urban this top is.
To accessorize, I wore Nike running shoes, a spring 2014 trend, and a NYC snapback from Forever 21. I think the NYC hat adds another layer of thought because the city is America's fashion and commerce capital.
This outfit is an easy example of how to make a simple change to a previous outfit of the day I've worn. Just changing out the sweatshirt and the direction of the bill of my hat completely transforms a previous look.
Here's a similar styling I made of this ensemble for the ladies.
