I love finding fresh faces in the modeling industry and watching their star rise in the Hollywood sky. I've been a huge fan of Colton Haynes since he was an unknown model, long before he was a regular character on Teen Wolf or Arrow.
Colton really inspires me as male model because of his work ethic and attention to his own personal style. In just six years, Colton skyrocketed from Abercrombie & Fitch model (one of the easiest and least rewarding modeling gigs in the industry) to professional actor on MTV's hottest summer show Teen Wolf. Throughout all that, Colton has stayed impeccably dressed off camera (a challenge for most male celebrities).
Colton's clothes range from classic to cool, and with a face like that, he could pull off just about anything. I love the metallic sheen of his jacket that he wore to a GQ event ( (above left); it's the perfect way to add some visual interest to a tried and true tuxedo. Wrapping plaid around your waist like Colton did on a DKNY shoot (above right) adds more dimension and 90s flair to an urban outfit. Nothing brings out Colton's gorgeous blue eyes than more blue like the suit ensemble he wore while goofing off on set of a TV show (above middle).
Not only is Colton a great model and actor, but he's also a great singer. Earlier this month a band called New Heights collaborated with him on a cover of "19 You + Me". This is the first time Colton's ventured into music territory (at least publicly), and frankly I'm not surprised that he's amazing.
While I obviously have a huge crush on this guy, Colton inspires me to work even harder at the three professions we both share a passion for: modeling, acting and singing.
