Italian style is so unique and refreshing, and I'm not just saying that because I'm Italian myself. The MDV Style for Chic Phobia collection (which launched just yesterday) is a blend of Italian beauty, modernism and clean construction.
MDV Style is Mariano Di Vaio's, an Italian model, fashion and lifestyle blog. Mariano is the epitome of the modern Milan man. His blog posts are always on point and he's created a huge following on Instagram just for being his goofy, gorgeous self. Like Mariano, I'd love to have (and model in) my own exclusive collection someday, and surprisingly this one matches some of my own ideas.
I love this leopard jacket and the way Mariano styled it with all black for a monochromatic look. The print has a great metallic sheen to it that takes the animal print trend to a unique level.
Graphic tees are about as mass market as you can get, but the high fashion design on this one is stunning. I love how digitized the Norwegian scarf/sweater pattern looks. This t-shirt is unisex (like most of the pieces in this collection) so you can buy one for yourself, your significant other or share it between the two of you.
This piece is the highlight of the collection. I love the artwork that takes center stage on the sweater. It's mirrored on both sides which is completely urban chic. The fading of the classic Renaissance art is beautiful.
Taking the same elements from the sweatshirt above, this t-shirt modernizes Italian works of art into stylish, wearable clothing. The different sized triangles on the t-shirt are eye-catching. I'd totally pair this with some white jeans for a concert or a night on the town.
The whole collection is really unique yet completely accessible to the street style savvy. Now I've just got to figure out how to convert my online US dollars to Euros!
