I love when designers collaborate with major retailers to offer something entirely new and unique to a wide audience. We saw it with Target + Nieman Marcus just last year.
Today, at 12 P.M. EST & 9 A.M. PST, the Isabel Marant collection for H&M launched. If you check their website now, virtually every piece from the collection is out of stock. That's how fast true fashionistas shop my friends.
It's easy to see why the demand for these pieces was so high. The collection itself blends urban attitude, boho elegance and rock 'n' roll spirit together. Then of course there is the French allure of the brand name.
This look is perfect for the professional woman. The jacket's design is eye-catching and has a CHANEL construction to it (no surprise seeing as both designers are french).
The pants are far from ordinary with the paneling against the knees and abstract pockets. I love how incredibly easy this look is to put on, yet the designs themselves are impeccably show-stopping.
The daredevil heels add some spunk to this outfit, making her ready for drinks right after work without having to change.
From far away, this outfit is simple, and understated. When you get up close, it's still simple and understated. But with a keen eye for detail, you'll notice the beautiful pattern profiling the legs of these pants. That's so Isabel.
While usually I'd shudder at the sight of black and brown, the boots here act as the pop of pigment. I'm loving the relaxed pieces of this outfit being paired with something as rigid as this coat.
Statement outerwear is a must this season, and walking into a room with this near-knee length sweater will certainly turn heads. I love the changing pattern of the sweater from hem to hem. Paired with sleek black clothing, the focus is on the quirky design of the jacket.
When this model gets too hot at a holiday party, the disguised intricate texture of the black blouse will take center stage.
The leather pants will go great with other outfits in winter and summer.
White on white is a tricky trend to pull off, but this stunning sweater will keep you looking white hot. The loose threads and unconventional shapes make this the ugly Christmas sweater's distant cousin. The texture keeps the design rugged and masculine.
These bold white pants will go with virtually anything if you know how to rock them right. To soften them down, I would pair a black sweater with these pants.
Style for me is all about personality. I think self-confidence and being at ease with oneself is a good definition of it.
